There is no obligation to buy a hearing aid, but you cannot buy hearing aids unless you have a hearing test first. This is best practice in accordance with the Hearing Aid Council, and we recommend you do NOT enter into the supply of hearing aids unless you have a hearing test with - and are fitted by - a qualified professional.
